Neuth – Galaxy Explorer

Posted on October 15th, 2016

Anna is a Lutheran pastor, a writer, and a not-so-closet Trekker. She loves science fiction and fantasy! I’ve known Anna since she was a teen, and she has always been caring, empathetic…and geeky. Just like me. 🙂

neuthWho is Neuth? Well, I’ll you her tell you:

“I am an alien from the DC Comics universe, a researcher come to explore the curious case of the Justice League: what the heck has this piddling backwater primitive planet got, that so many aliens (Superman, Hawkgirl, the Martian Manhunter, etc., etc.) come there to be a Superhero.

But when I showed up, everyone was like aha! You are here to join the Justice League! And I’m all, no, not really, I’m just here to study them! (But I end up pitching in when needed, just the same.)”

For this image, I had her repeatedly leap into the air for me (that was amusing and fun – ha!) Then I placed this image on the canvas, created a couple of planets around her, and added wings to her feet (because aliens can fly.) I added a huge stylus (this is actually from an Egyptian tomb or some such) and created a rainbow effect from her pad.

And no, despite appearances, Neuth is not a red-shirt. 🙂
